Hanwha-Anthropic exhibition explores AI, human values through art
SEOUL, Oct. 21 (Yonhap) -- An exhibition about how artificial intelligence (AI) systems work and how well they follow human values will open in Seoul this week, organizers said Wednesday.
The exhibition is called "AS_____AS POSSIBLE." It is jointly organized by the Hanwha Foundation of Culture and U.S. company Anthropic, which created the AI platform Claude. According to the organizers, it will open at the Centre Pompidou Hanwha on Friday.
Five South Korean artists and teams are taking part: MinOhrichar, Inhwa Yeom, Ubac Studio, Kahee Jeong and Mirim Chu. They used Claude to create artworks specially commissioned for the exhibition.
The exhibition's title raises questions about the purpose and limits of technology. The blank spaces in the title could be filled with words such as "accurate," "understandable" and "aligned."
The exhibition will run until Nov. 13.
