OpenAI buys Orchestra Bio to expand drug development tools

US artificial intelligence (AI) company OpenAI has bought Orchestra Bio. The deal adds a platform that helps organize drug development projects to OpenAI’s growing set of tools for life sciences research.

The deal was announced on Tuesday. Orchestra Bio’s team and technology will join Rosalind, OpenAI’s models and tools for researchers. The announcement did not reveal how much OpenAI paid for the company.
