OpenAI and Google have made a deal that will bring OpenAI’s models to Google Cloud and Google’s Antigravity tool.

Starting in the coming weeks, OpenAI’s GPT models will be available on Google Cloud. OpenAI says that Google Cloud customers will be able to buy OpenAI’s most advanced models through the Model Garden, using the Google Cloud Marketplace. This means that business customers who have already committed to spending money on Google Cloud can also choose to use OpenAI’s models.

The Google Cloud Model Garden already offers Anthropic’s Claude models, open models, and Google’s own Gemini models.

Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, says:

We want to give customers a wide range of models, including OpenAI’s, so they can choose the best model for each task. This can help them get better results while spending less.

Today’s announcement also confirms that OpenAI models will come to Google’s Antigravity tool and Gemini Agent.

Like Google Cloud’s Model Garden, Antigravity already supports Anthropic models. Claude Opus and Sonnet 4.6 are available for free, Plus, and trial accounts until November 2. The newer Opus and Sonnet 5.5 models are available to paying subscribers on Pro and higher plans.

OpenAI and Google have not yet said exactly which GPT models will be available on Cloud and Antigravity. However, GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol could be among them.
