2027: Opposition Campaigning With AI, Not On Ground – Uba Sani

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has accused opposition parties of using artificial intelligence (AI) for their campaigns instead of meeting people and campaigning in person ahead of the 2027 general election.
Sani made this claim on Saturday while speaking to supporters at the launch of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign in Kaduna State.
“The opposition has now moved their campaigns from Facebook to Twitter (X) and now to artificial intelligence (AI),” the governor said.
He told APC supporters to stay alert. He claimed that opposition parties were using content created by AI instead of holding campaigns in person.
“I want to remind our supporters to be very careful and stay alert. The opposition is only campaigning with AI, with no real campaign,” he said.
The governor also thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other important guests who travelled to Kaduna to attend the rally.
“I want to thank you, thank Mr President and everyone else who made time to come to Kaduna today for this very important groundbreaking event,” Sani added.
The rally officially marks the start of the APC's campaign for Tinubu's re-election in the 2027 presidential election.
