2027: ‘Opposition Now Campaigning With AI’ — Uba Sani
Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has accused opposition parties of using artificial intelligence (AI) to campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections instead of meeting voters in person and reaching out to local communities.
Sani made this claim on Saturday while speaking to supporters at the All Progressives Congress (APC) event that officially launched its presidential campaign in Kaduna State.
The governor said opposition parties had changed their campaign methods, moving from social media platforms to using artificial intelligence.
“The opposition has now upgraded their campaigns from Facebook to Twitter (X) to artificial intelligence (AI),” he said.
He told APC supporters to stay alert, claiming that opposition parties were relying on AI-generated content instead of holding in-person campaigns to connect with voters.
“I want to call the attention of our supporters to be very watchful, to be vigilant. The opposition is only campaigning with AI, no real campaign,” Sani said.
The governor also thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, other important guests, and supporters who attended the rally in Kaduna. He described the gathering as an important event.
“I want to thank you, thank Mr President and every other person who found time to be in Kaduna today to attend this very important groundbreaking event,” he added.
The rally officially marked the start of the APC’s campaign activities in support of Tinubu’s bid for re-election in the 2027 presidential election.
