HCLTech partners with Anthropic to expand enterprise use of Agentic AI- Moneycontrol.com

HCLTech on Monday announced a Global Premier Partnership with artificial intelligence company Anthropic to accelerate the adoption of Agentic AI across global enterprises, with a focus on safety, cybersecurity and governance.

Under the partnership, HCLTech will establish a dedicated Anthropic Business Unit and a Centre of Excellence (CoE) to develop Agentic AI solutions and accelerate the deployment of Anthropic’s Claude AI models in enterprise environments.

HCLTech’s services teams will develop industry-specific solutions powered by Claude, Cowork and Claude Code. The company will also provide secure sandbox environments for enterprise deployments, train client workforces and help organisations adopt AI-native engineering practices.

HCLSoftware will become an Anthropic independent software vendor (ISV) partner, embedding Claude capabilities into select enterprise products across cybersecurity, automation, business process applications and application development. These products include HCL BigFix and HCL AppScan, while the partnership will also enable Actian AI Analyst.

HCLTech will also integrate Claude and Claude Code into its agentic software engineering platform, AIForce, for applications including IT support, code remediation and digital employee services. These workflows will include policy guardrails, exception handling and human oversight for high-impact changes.

The collaboration builds on HCLTech’s existing capabilities across engineering, data, cloud and software. The company said the partnership would help clients move from AI experimentation to enterprise deployment with a focus on safety and scale.
