Google holds big lead over Anthropic, Meta, OpenAI in race for best October AI model

Google (GOOG) (GOOGL) on Monday continued to hold a dominant 70% probability on prediction market Polymarket to possess the top AI model by the end of October, while Anthropic (ANTHRO) trails in second place with a 23% chance, and OpenAI (OPENAI) sits at under 1%.
Meanwhile, Meta’s (META) odds on the platform rose slightly to 3.5%, up from roughly 1.5% prior to the company’s debut of its new Muse Wonder AI models.
Designed to handle tasks such as reviewing legal documents, navigating insurance claims and developing software, the Muse Wonder release prompted a minor shift in sentiment among traders, though most remain hesitant to bet on a dramatic rank shift before the contract resolves on Oct. 31.
