US billionaire pays people to keep nuts, seeds in park, sparks rat infestation
Electronics billionaire Barre Seid has been accused by Chicago officials of causing a severe rat infestation by hiring people to scatter nuts and seeds across a local park, Axios reported. The 94-year-old has paid fines for more than three years without contesting the violations. The alleged activity has also caused property damage, potentially leaving taxpayers to foot the repair bill.
