OpenAI: FBI arrests employee over suspected office spying

OpenAI said on Tuesday that it had discovered a hidden recording device in one of its offices, adding that the FBI arrested the employee who allegedly planted it a few days earlier.

"At this time, we have no indications of this individual inappropriately accessing or exfiltrating model weights, source code, or customer data. The employee was terminated," the company stated, adding that the FBI's investigation is underway.
