A major security concern has emerged at OpenAI after 35-year-old engineer Abdulrahman Alfozan was arrested and charged in the United States over an alleged attempt to intercept oral communications using an electronic recording device.According to the US Department of Justice, OpenAI personnel discovered a concealed audio recording device in an executive conference room at the company's San Francisco office. Investigators allege that the device was placed there to capture sensitive conversations involving the company's technology, research and business strategy.OpenAI reported the incident to the FBI and terminated the employee.
