Eight US states file lawsuits against OpenAI over alleged harm to children
Eight US states have filed lawsuits against OpenAI, accusing the artificial intelligence company of exposing children to harmful interactions through its ChatGPT chatbot.
The legal actions were announced on Wednesday by officials from Iowa, Kansas and six other states, with lawsuits filed in courts across the United States, Reuters reports.
