OpenAI employee arrested for allegedly planting secret recording device

In the US, a senior engineer at artificial intelligence giant OpenAI has been arrested and charged after allegedly planting a secret recording device in a meeting room used by the company’s top executives.

The FBI says the incident posed a risk to national security and highlights the need for the US to win the global race to develop superintelligence.
