Theori joins Anthropic program to boost AI-powered cyber defense - CHOSUNBIZ

Artificial intelligence (AI)-based cybersecurity Theori Inc. said on the 16th that it has joined Anthropic's Cyber Verification Program (CVP) as a participating corporations.
Anthropic's CVP is a program that gives vetted security corporations and experts access to advanced AI capabilities for cybersecurity. Through this, the latest AI models can be used for high-difficulty security research such as malware analysis, vulnerability detection, and attack path validation.
Through joining Anthropic's CVP, Theori Inc. can further advance the offensive security detection and attack path validation engine of its AI-based autonomous penetration testing platform "Xint." In particular, by adding the precise reasoning capabilities of AI agents to source code and binary analysis and penetration testing in live service environments, it is expected to reduce false positives and dramatically accelerate the discovery of high-risk vulnerabilities.
Previously, Theori Inc. was also approved to participate in OpenAI's cyber defense program "Daybreak."
Park Se-jun, CEO of Theori Inc., said, "As AI rapidly lowers the time and expense needed for cyberattacks, defenders must also be able to actively use the most advanced AI technologies," adding, "This approval is an important opportunity to apply world-class AI technologies to a broader range of security research."
He added, "Based on this, Theori Inc. will advance technologies that find and validate practically exploitable vulnerabilities faster and more accurately, helping clients respond to threats before attackers do."
