Anthropic said to offer Blackstone high yield chip financing deal

Anthropic offered the alternative asset manager giant Blackstone a high yield of more than 10% to fund its latest chip acquisition, the Financial Times reported, citing sources familiar with the matter. According to the proposal, in addition to the 10% coupon, Blackstone would receive an even higher total return after fees and discounts in return for financing about half of $18 billion in Anthropic's junior loans.
