Google officially launches voice email search feature integrated with AI
Google has just officially launched Gmail Live, a feature that allows users to search by chatting directly with artificial intelligence (AI) via voice.

After being introduced at the Google I/O event last month, Gmail Live has completed the testing phase and is starting to be deployed for users who register for paid AI packages.
This feature works similarly to the voice chat mode of the Gemini chatbot, helping users search for information without entering keywords or scanning a series of emails.
For example, users can ask: "What is my boarding gate number?" or "What is my child's school doing this week?". Gmail Live will automatically scan the mailbox and quickly give an answer.
In addition, Google also introduced Docs Live and Keep Live, two AI features that support document processing and voice notes.
With Docs Live, users only need to describe the document they want to create. Gemini will collect information from Gmail, Drive, Chat and Internet to build a draft, and also support content editing.
Meanwhile, Keep Live has the ability to convert speech into notes, work lists and implementation instructions without entering text.
According to Google, Gmail Live and Keep Live are deployed this week for Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers. Docs Live is only for Pro and Ultra packages. These features will also soon be available on Google Workspace for businesses.
