OpenAI upgrades ChatGPT, allowing reading open tabs on Chrome
OpenAI has just upgraded ChatGPT on Chrome, allowing AI to read open tabs and supporting users to perform multiple tasks.

Previously, OpenAI had developed its own browser but stopped providing this product from August 9. Instead, the company focused on upgrading the ChatGPT utility on Chrome to increase its competitiveness with Google's Gemini.
With the new update, users can ask ChatGPT to view the content of the open tabs to give an answer that suits their personal needs.
For example, when opening sales pages, users can ask ChatGPT to compare size, selling price, delivery time and exchange policy without having to summarize information themselves.
Notably, with ChatGPT Work, an AI tool designed to handle complex tasks in many steps, users can ask assistants to send messages, fill out forms or arrange tabs.
ChatGPT can also analyze the terms of many providers on different tabs, then compose an email to send to the most suitable unit.
In addition, ChatGPT on the Chrome sidebar can now access the entire chat history, helping users continue to chat without switching tabs.
According to OpenAI, this utility supports all service packages and is compatible with Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave and Opera.
