Wall St opens higher as Anthropic's IPO filing sharpens AI focus

Oct. 26 (Reuters) - US stocks opened higher on Monday as news of Anthropic's filing to go public drew investors' attention. Investors were also preparing for a week full of company earnings reports and the Federal Reserve's decision on interest rates.

When trading began, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 105.3 points, or 0.20%, to 52,320.45. The S&P 500 gained 16.0 points, or 0.21%, to reach 7,639.7. The Nasdaq Composite rose 71.5 points, or 0.28%, to 26,026.865.
