Anthropic has officially filed the paperwork needed to sell its shares to the public for the first time. The AI company announced this in a post on its website. It sent a Form S-1 to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The filing confirms that the company's stock will trade on the Nasdaq stock market under the symbol "ANT." Anthropic had already sent the SEC an early draft of the S-1 form in June.
Anthropic said it has not yet decided how many shares it will sell or how much each share will cost. The company's value could reach about $2 trillion when its stock is expected to start trading in mid-November.
