Anthropic files for IPO

(CNN) — Anthropic is also getting ready to sell shares to the public for the first time. Its stock market debut could become one of the biggest in history.

On Monday, October 26, the artificial intelligence company filed paperwork with the Securities and Exchange Commission to begin an initial public offering (IPO).

Anthropic did not say how many shares it plans to sell or how much each share might cost.

Reports say the listing could value the company at up to $2 trillion.
