Global technology stocks rose on Tuesday as investors became more confident in the artificial intelligence (AI) industry again. This followed Anthropic’s long-awaited filing to go public, according to a report by the Financial Times.

The Nasdaq 100 rose 1.1% on Monday after Anthropic revealed that its revenue had grown sharply in the first half of 2026 and that it had $112bn in cash. These details helped ease worries about whether AI investments can make enough money. For months, technology stocks had seen big price swings as investors questioned how much companies would need to spend on the computers and other equipment needed to grow the AI industry.

Asian technology stocks led the gains on Tuesday. South Korea’s Kospi index rose by as much as 5% before giving back some of those gains and ending up 3%. Chipmakers SK Hynix and Samsung rose 5.2% and 4.2%, respectively. Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose 1.7%, helped by a jump in SoftBank shares. These gains showed that investors were once again interested in companies that build AI systems and make the computer chips they need.

The rise comes as hedge funds and other large investors review how much money they have invested in AI-related stocks after recent market ups and downs. Analysts at BNP Paribas called the gains a rally driven by relief about AI. However, investors are still watching to see whether faster revenue growth can justify high technology stock prices and continued heavy spending on infrastructure.

Investors are now looking ahead to upcoming earnings reports from SK Hynix and Samsung, the Federal Reserve’s next decision on interest rates and other policies, and the approaching US midterm elections.
