Volaris, BCS Technology, and Anthropic are expanding their work together to bring Claude into Volaris's software development process. They are starting by updating an older software platform.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, October 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Volaris, an airline that offers very low fares and serves Mexico, the United States, Central America, and South America, is working with BCS Technology and Anthropic to expand their partnership. BCS Technology is a Certified Claude Service Provider and Partner and has provided IT professional services to Volaris for many years. The companies are bringing Claude into Volaris's software development projects, starting with an update to an older software platform.

Volaris wanted to update its platform more quickly so that users could benefit from improvements sooner, without reducing quality. A small, focused team used Claude to help define requirements, generate code, run automated tests, and carry out delivery work. The team followed a clear development process with quality and security checks built in at every stage. It completed the platform in about half the time usually needed for a project of this size. The defect rate stayed below 5% through user acceptance testing, the stage when users check whether the software meets their needs. The extra time also allowed the team to add features and handle unusual cases that were not included in the original plan. Because of these results, Volaris gave more people across the account access to Claude for software development.

"What stood out most was how quickly our developers learned to work this way. Claude took care of more of the repetitive work involved in building software. This gave our team more time to develop AI skills, improve their judgment about software architecture, and make important decisions about how to move the platform forward instead of spending so much time on manual tasks."

— Israel Lizarraga, Senior Marketing and Digital Director, Volaris

"This project shows what can happen when AI handles routine development tasks. Developers can spend more time creating new things instead of maintaining existing systems. Often, this change in how people spend their time is the most lasting benefit of these projects."

— Ashish Agrawal, Head of Architecture and DevOps, BCS Technology
